Update: Cleanse Day 3

Hey guys,

Good lord. I’m hanging in there but barely. Cheated slightly today because I added granulated sugar to my shake because I had no honey. Real shame. Then again the tofu, flax seed, and unsweetened almond milk I think evened that out. 

While mood has been…whats the nice word for ‘bitchy’… I definitely am surprised that I have stuck with the program. It hasn’t exactly been peaches and cream. Besides changes in mood and this is probably definitely tmi but I have had to pee like 100 more times a day. I suppose the bright side to all of this is I’m finally getting the required 5-10 serving per day of fruit and vegetables. 

I have noticed a little pep in my step. I think I am only missing bad foods simply because I can’t have them. I am very pumped to get back on detox. I’ll be compiling a recipe book of sorts for detox which will be the diet of interest on this site! 

In case you want to try my concoction:

Chocolate Banana Shake 

Ingrediants 

1 banana

2 tsp cocoa powder 

1 1\2 tsp of sugar (or honey) 

2 tsp flax seeds 

1 1\2 a cube of soft tofu 

4 ice cubes 

Combine all ingrediants in blender and then mix. Then drink. Mmm. 

I’ll do a full summary of this ‘experience’ tomorrow.
